Pietro Montanti is a composer for film and documentaries. His work always starts from the function of the scene: understanding what must change in the viewer, where tension begins, when emotion should emerge, and when space should instead be left to the image. From there, he builds bespoke music with clear direction and measured language.

Graduated in Classical Clarinet at the Conservatory of Verona, with training in composition and music for picture, he combines technical rigor and narrative sensitivity. He has composed for short films, audiovisual projects, and theatre productions, and since 2022 he has collaborated with Production Music Libraries between London and Los Angeles.

His process is designed to integrate smoothly into production: testing multiple musical directions, motivated choices, fast revisions, and organized deliveries for post-production. Labeled stems, tracked versions, and mix-ready materials are part of his working standard.

Montanti collaborates directly and in a measured way with directors, producers, and editors, with the goal of supporting the project's vision without overloading it. He works on films and documentaries in Italy and across Europe, offering a reliable, flexible, and results-oriented approach.
